BAU Cyprus Nursing Bachelor's Programme aims to train students as patient-focused, ethically committed, and professional nurses by offering them comprehensive education in human health and care services. The programme is conducted with a curriculum that integrates theoretical knowledge of nursing with clinical practices, allowing students to develop their skills in planning, implementing, and evaluating health care processes based on scientific principles.
During the educational process, students receive fundamental health sciences courses such as anatomy, physiology, basic nursing practices, community health, children's health nursing, geriatric care, and emergency care. In addition to theoretical knowledge, students learn through experiencing skills such as patient care, clinical decision-making, and teamwork in realistic environments through simulation laboratories and practical internships. The programme also aims to equip students with the social and professional competencies required by the nursing profession, such as empathy, communication, leadership, and ethical decision-making.
Graduates of the nursing programme will be equipped to work in various health settings, such as hospitals, clinics, community health centres, nursing homes, and emergency health services. Graduates can also continue their education with the necessary infrastructure for advanced academic training or explore career opportunities in international health systems.
